Who We Are

The Electric Boat Cycling Club (EBCC) was first organized in November of 1999 and has been riding strong since. Club membership is open to any EBAC member regardless of experience. There are no additional dues required to become involved with the EBCC. The mission of our club is to provide members with a means to discuss anything to do with cycling: road cycling, off-road cycling, biking to work, buying, selling, etc. The EBCC provides its members with information on local events that can be participated in by cyclists of any level from recreational to racing for both road cycling and mountain biking activities. Many of these events are free, open to the public, and are organized by area cycling groups or bike shops. Weekly road rides are held on Tuesdays between March and October. The club also organizes a yearly group trip to Long Island for a Summer Solstice Ride with routes ranging between 40 and 100 miles. The road ride schedule and group ride guildelines are available on this website.
