EBAC Car Club
1969 MGB 4s
Restored by: Glen Eckart
Restoration Duration = 2 years

Cars Story: Glen purchased this car in November of 2003 as a rolling body and a pile of parts. He ended up replacing the floors, sills, dog-legs and both front wings (fenders). After completing the panel replacement, the car was stripped down to bare sheet metal and then painted to the original color, British Racing Green. In 2009 Glen did a conversion from carbureted to fuel injection. This required replacing the two SU carbs with two throttle bodies and adding a Megasquirt DIY unit for the ECU.

Glen had this to say about this restoration: "I knew when I started that this was not going to be a concourse restoration. My intention was to build a fun car to drive on nice days. To that end I re-upholstered the interior in tan leather and carpet."
