Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Can I play in both A and B Divisions in the same season?
A. No, its not allowed.
Q. We don't have enough people for our game next week. Can we reschedule?
A. Sure, but we would like you to do the leg work. Maybe try to find another team that plays the same team but later in the year and offer swapping with them. If you get the captain(s) to agree to a swap, send an email to Ian Lawrence and Jake Christian with the other captains on copy to confirm the change.
Q. Can I have 3 numbers on my jersey?
A. Taken from the rule book - http://www.iaabo8.org/secure/documents/2011-12_NFHS_Rulebook.pdf Per Federation rules, these are the ONLY "legal" numbers allowed and must be combinations of the following and ONLY a total of two numbers on the uniform..
00
0 - 5
10 - 15
20 - 25
30 - 35
40 - 45
50 - 55
Those are the only combinations of numbers that you can use, and the reason why they set it up this way if for the referees... The referees must be able to report fouls or any other type violation by signaling with one hand each digit of a players number, i.e., foul on #15, the ref shows the table #1 with one hand and then puts up #5 with the 2nd... Using 6 - 9 or triple numbers does not allow this to happen.
