Saturday morning the 2017 edition of the EBAC Fall Challenge took place with tons of support from the EBAC e-Board, SNERRO, and EBAC members. Thank you everyone for your support of this race, it was great to see so many people out there even in 30-32 degrees temps with a nice cool breeze off the water.

Paul Gennaro took home the overall victory with a time of 24:35, with an average of 5:10 per mile after opening up a gap with a 4:57 first mile. Looking back at results from 1997 and forward it looks like Paul set a course record this year with his result. The top 5 EBAC members behind Paul were Brian Whitney (28:58), Rob Buttermore (29:30), Kenny Wilkinson (30:06), Kevin Zheng (30:20), and Michael Fleming (30:56).

On the womens side Becky Snelson continued her dominance of SECT road racing with a 3^rd place overall finish with a time of 28:46 for an average pace of 6:03 per mile. Coming in behind Becky representing the top 5 for EBAC was Nancy Maerkle (35:57), Nicole Verone (37:03), Karla Santiago (39:50), Aleasha Coburn (40:43), and Jacqueline Durazo (43:35).

On the EBAC male masters side of the race 61 year young Bobby Clark took home the top honors running 32:07, averaging an amazing 6:46 per mile. Behind him for EBAC master runners were Steve Dinsmore (35:11), Bob Gralton (35:32), Stephen Brault (35:56), Scott Todd (35:57), and Eduardo Morcos (36:09).

Finally, onto the EBAC female masters of the race! 24^th place overall Nancy Maerkle with a time of 35:57, for 7:34 pace per mile took home top honors and mixed it up with the open division winners. Following her from EBAC was Aleasha Coburn (40:43), Melissa Buttermore (52:22), Shirley Iselin (54:53), and Diane Cain (58:37).
