Where To Climb

Climb Outside

There are many other crags in the area, but these are places that EBAC climbs as a group:

Lantern Hill, North Stonington is a short hike near EB's Eagle Park facility.
Ragged Mountain, central CT has about 90 routes. It has both Trad and Toprope routes available.
Beach Pond, Exeter RI is a small crag with a handful of short bolted routes.
Ross Pond, Killingly CT has three main walls of varying height.

Climb Inside

The club is partnered with a couple local gyms to provide day passes (please note, you must be an EBAC Rock Climbing Club member to use the discount):

Rock Spot (Peacedale, RI)
Central Rock Gym (Warwick, RI / Glastonbury, CT)

Upcoming Trips

5th Annual Rumney Climbing Trip

The club will be heading up to Rumney, NH (dates TBD) for a weekend of some of the best climbing the Northeast has to offer. Rumney is one of the premier sport climbing destinations in the country and offers quality climbing at all grades. While there are certainly easier climbs at Rumney, it is suggessted that being a solid 5.8 outdoor climber will help you maximize your fun on this trip.Climbing aside, the atmosphere at Rumney is also almost reason enough to go, especially during September
