Marvel Crisis Protocol by Atomic Mass Games
Marvel Crisis Protocol or MCP is a tactical combat skirmish tabletop game. Where players use figures to represent specific heroes and villains from the Marvel universe and battle each other. Its most common format is a 2-player game where each player builds a roster of heroes/villains.
The game is played as a back and forth interaction between you and the opponent where each player activates a character and performs actions then the other player does the same until all characters on the battlefield have activated for that round. The game is scored at the beginning of each round and ends when either a certain point value has been reached or a player’s team has been tabled. The system to determine if actions are successful is based on a custom eight sided dice that determines successes or failures. In addition, each character can have specific rules to help or hinder dice roles. A typical game can last between 45 minutes to around an hour.
Once the mission has been determined, the players will decide which point value each team will be drafting. Each hero/villain has a specific point value along with stats and a special rule set denoted by a character card. The game modes can vary from rescue missions to Intel capture to control the points and many more. The battlefield is dynamic and tends to be player-based setup so each game played is never really the same layout.
As a tabletop war-game fan and an avid painter, MCP is one of the easier tabletop skirmish games to get into. With a team consisting of just a handful of models, people can jump into the game fast without a big dent in their wallet. The game itself is very dynamic players can make the game as simple or complex as they want. In addition, the models are very detailed and fun to paint. With characters from the massive Marvel universe you can create those epic battles, maybe even answer those crazy questions of who would win in a fight: Venom or The Incredible Hulk.

I am looking to rally other club members to play a game I am interested in outside of the usual club events. How would I go about doing this?
You can post your event details in the "Looking For" section of our Discord and/or in the EB Forums under EBAC Tabletop Gaming Club. Be sure to include a description, dates, a responsive point of contact, and other expectations to get the most responses.
I would like to volunteer as Gamemaster for Role-play Night one-shot at the end of the month.
We love volunteers! A new gamemaster always mixes things up. Please provide the number of players you're comfortable with, your adventure system (and version if applicable), and the adventure hook you'd like to use. The club leaders typicaly discuss scheduling on the last week of the month, so please submit your idea accordingly.
I am severing/leaving Electric Boat. Is there a way I can stay a member?
Of course! You are a part of our community. You will still be required to have a signed liability form on file with us, and we can notify you of future events if requested. The only change is for any closed events or tournaments members will receive priority.
How do I sign-up for an event?
Click here to be directed to EB’s outlook booking website. Search among the available events and dates accordingly, fill in the appropriate prompted information, then click “Book” to sign-up!
Is there a Table Seating Limit? Each table has a limited amount of seating’s; they are first come first-serve.
Is there a waitlist? If seats are filled; the table will transition into a waitlist available for members to sign-up for. If a cancellation occurs with a member who had secured a seat, then the next individual in the queue in order of date/time signed up will be contacted to fill the seat which had just opened up.
Am I retricted to what I can sign-up for? You are only allowed to sign-up for ONE seat at ONE table per Event. As long as the times do not conflict. If individuals book multiple conflicting events; your first one will remain and the other’s will fall off. Holding/reserving seats is not allowed.
What about host cancellations? If not enough seats are filled; the table will be cancelled and all members signed up will be notified. Additionally, if something unexpected occurs causing the host to cancel; the table will be cancelled and all members signed up will be notified. Afterwards, members can free sign-up for another event following the same Sign-up restrictions stated above.
What about member cancellations? Are dependent on the host’s preference. The event may allow players to cancel on their own; otherwise please send an email to the club’s official email to cancel accordingly.
Can I sign-up on the day of? Player’s signing up day of an event may be declined by the host. Certain games require heavy setup; and might cause problems with last minute additions.
Is there a way to sign-up from home. External sign-ups are allowed; individuals who would like to sign up using an external email will need to request access by emailing the club.
How will I know I have secured a seat to the event? A confirmation email will be sent 1-2 days prior to the event; requesting a confirmation from both the host & each seat member’s attendance for the event. If no answer is provided prior to day-of the event, the host is eligible to revoke that member’s seat booking followed by an awareness email. Then, reach out to the next member in the waitlist queue and offer the now vacant seat. (Per Host’s decision of course)
I would like to host an event through the club's booking page. How would I go about it? Club members are welcome to submit/request to host their own events through our Bookings application. Please fill out the Microsoft Form if interested - EBAC TGC Private Event Request Form
