Megan Roberts

Megan Roberts has been involved with the EBAC since starting at the company in 2003, and is currently a member of the Running and Golf teams. Since joining the Golf team in 2004, Megan has improved her handicap by nine strokes. In 2008, she tied for first place in the B divisions, winning 85% of her matches and took second place in a playoff. Following the 2008 season, Megan was awarded the Helen DeWolfe award, given annually to a golfer based on their contribution to the league, congeniality, and good sportsmanship. In addition to co-hosting the end of the season golf banquet for the last two seasons, Megan has been the chair of the Sunshine committee since 2006. She has gone above and beyond in this role, by personally visiting members in the hospital or at home recuperating.

Megan has also been a member of the EBAC Varsity Running team since 2003. In 2007, she was awarded the ‘Most Valuable Runner’ award for the EB women’s team and in 2008, she accomplished a life-long goal of finishing the Boston marathon. Less than 2 weeks after this achievement, Megan again qualified for the women’s varsity team by placing 4th for the EBAC ladies in the L&M Spring Stride. She also competed in the Special Olympics 5K, taking 2nd place for the EBAC to help the team finish in 2nd place in the corporate division. And at the annual EBAC fall challenge, Megan took 3rd place for the EBAC and helped the team take 2nd place in the corporate division.
