2007 EBAC PRESIDENT’S AWARD
 

The President’s Award is presented, as determined by the EBAC President, in recognition of extraordinary work in support of an EBAC program. The award, established in 1995, is presented to individuals who voluntarily donate their time, effort, energy and dedication to help the President achieve the EBAC goal of providing quality recreational and athletic events to its members.
   
 

 

Ed Leight
  Ed Leight has been on the Executive Board of the EBAC since September 2007. Ed has taken on any task that has been put in front of him. When the Canoe Club needed a new Commissioner President Lynn D’Amato approached him and Tim Krawiec and they took it over with no questions asked. They did a great job with the Run of the Charles this year.

Ed has given in his short time so much to the Board of this organization. When you needed someone to step up he was always there if you needed him.

This past year Ed and his wife Alexandra have had a baby and have moved to Long Island near their family. Ed gave his notice back in August and will be greatly missed on the EBAC Board. He brought good ideas and great respect to everyone around him.

In addition to his job here Ed played darts in 2007 for Bullish for Beers. Also he was an avid support of his friends and coworkers in any sports they may have played in.
